Taking digital images greatly reduces the amount of time your pet stays on the x-ray table. Images can then be quickly displayed on a computer and we can gain a better view of your pet's bones and internal organs for a superior analysis. With digital imagery, diagnosing a wide range of medical conditions is made faster and more accurate than ever before. We offer both regular and dental digital radiology.
Digital x-rays can be saved to a disk and given to you as part of your pet's home medical record. Images can also be shared via email to specialists when a second opinion or additional diagnosis is needed.
Test results within minutes helps relieve your anxiety, which is why we maintain an in-house laboratory.
We do tests for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.
Laboratory testing allows your veterinarian to gain a view inside your pet's body in order to assess overall systemic health without the need for invasive and expensive procedures. We will regularly test your pet during wellness exams or when we suspect your pet may have a health issue.
We also perform testing prior to procedures that require anesthesia. This is a precautionary step to ensure that your pet does not have a pre-existing medical condition that could put your pet at risk for an adverse reaction.
